This paper describes the necessity of the adiusting of the crosscut feeding speed on boom-type roadheader and puts forward to the conception of relief percentage. By analyzing and testing, it shows that the high pressure relief percentage of using the way of adjusting speed by dividng and mixing equal quantity of flow device decreases 50
