Much effort is going into creating an earth based microgravity environment to study its effects on biological matter. We have developed a Magnetically Stabilized Fluidized Bed (MSFB) bioreactor that simulates a microgravity or supergravity flow environment, to culture anchorage dependent mammalian cells.
