Human factors programs in Japan: overview and status

The author outlines the human factors research activities of three Japanese organizations; the Central Research Institute of the Electric Power Industry (CRIEPI); the Nuclear Power Engineering Corporation (NUPEC); and the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (JAERI).
