Maintenance proficiency assessment: background and overview

摘要

Valid assessment of the skills and knowledge of individual maintenance personnel is critical for the efficient and safe performance of maintenance tasks in nuclear power plants. A brief overview of an Electrical Power Research Institute (EPRI) research project to develop, evaluate and effect technology transfer of a methodology to assess maintenance proficiency validly and efficiently is provided.
