Intermediate Language for Intelligent Database

摘要

In this article,characteristics of intermediate language for intelligent database are given. According to the characteristics, we propose an intermediate language-IML (intermediate manipulation langnage) , which is leasable to different models of DBMS (relational model, network model,hierarchical model) ,to different kinds of natural languages,and is also fit for inference. Its translations to DMLs, application in natural language interfaces, and some examples describing operations of database in IML are given.
