摘要

Accurate estimation of channel parameters plays an important role in channel modeling.The article focus on the performance of space-alternating generalized EM (SAGE)algorithm when used in high-speed railway system,and related results are assessed in international standard WINNER II channel model.The influence of speed will be studied and simulation results show that speeds shape less effect on the estimation of Angle of Arrival and Angle of Departure than on Doppler frequency.More simulations are performed to study the factors,i.e.signal to noise ratio,antenna arrays and observing cycle,for accurate estimation of Doppler frequency.The presented results demonstrate that the SAGE algorithm can be successfully used for the estimation of channel parameters,especially for Doppler frequency in highspeed railway system when the prerequisite for measurement is met and enough channel data are collected.The accurate estimation of parameters is of paramount importance for an accurate characterization of multiple-input multiple-output system scattering channel model.
