Greater Metro Line 3, Cairo: Installation of underground construction pits using cut-off-wall and soft-gel-grouting

摘要

The publication will give an overview on the preparation and execution of applied specialfoundation methods and a detailed description regarding installed soft-gel-plugs at the Greater CairoMetro Line 3. Detailed description will explain general assumptions during tendering and design ofgrout-plugs, preparation of equipment, grouting procedure during execution and quality assurance activities(checking of drilling inclination, reporting of grouting) as well as reached final results.
