The presented work is devoted to assessing the quality of the entrance into glide path when piloting an aircraft at the landing stage. The main criterion for the quality of piloting in this flight segment is the accuracy of the aircraft which is entering the glide path. Accuracy is determined by: flight parameters, crew piloting technique and its psychophysiological state, as well as the accuracy of landing equipment. It is proposed to use the roll angle function during pre-landing maneuvering as a complex diagnostic parameter for assessing piloting when aircraft start entering into the glide path. Therefore, the spectra of the autocorrelation functions of the roll angle are used to analyze the assessment of the quality of the entrance to the glide path. Experimental studies have shown that when the B-737-500 flying, piloting quality from the fourth turn to landing is better than when entering the glide path.
