This paper presents a new class of multi-stub loaded resonators with flexibly controlled resonance modes, which are suitable for both tunable and non-tunable filter applications. This filter is a ultra compact multi-band band pass filter with high out-of-band rejection. The quad band filter is flexible for use. The proposed resonators, modified from a basic stub loaded resonators which are electromagnetically coupled with each other. Quad-band BPFs with individually controllable pass band frequencies and bandwidths is implemented. The circuits are theoretically analyzed and experimentally demonstrated. The design development and performance evaluation of quad band filter using 3M Cu-clad substrate is demonstrated. Recently much attention is being paid to the 5G systems due to its high speed and convenient wireless access. Meanwhile, the other communication system such as RFID and others (WiMax and WLAN) is also be accommodated.
