摘要

This paper presents a frequency-dependent simulation of 2D multiparticle separation using acoustophoresis method in COMSOL Multiphysics software. The new microfluidic platform distinguishes itself by allowing not only size-based but also density-based separation with the use of external sheath flow for cell positioning and alignment. In this study, the simulation was created for various micro and nanoparticles with sizes ranging from 2μm to 30μm by applying various voltages that result in acoustophoretic forces corresponding to different channel widths.
