This project is to invent an intelligent instrument for cervical vertebra health care to avoid cervical vertebra overuse injury caused by working on the table for long hours. With program controlling, there are four operation modes, including the load reducing mode, the shaking and relaxing mode, the massage belt working mode and the electrical pulse treatment mode, and the jaw support could perform 6-DOF compound motion. A designing machine for motion parameters of the jaw support was also invented. With the application of computer and sensors, it can accurately simulate the massage of professional physicians and produce motion locus of jaw support and the motion parameters for all parts of the instrument. Comparing with the traditional mechanism designing method, it can improve design efficiency and quality significantly. Lastly, build a scheme library with the better comprehensive performance for the intelligent cervical vertebra health care instrument.
