In this paper, three-dimensional finite element analysis was used to analyze the mechanical properties and stress distribution of implants with different materials, and to explore the material selection and clinical application of individualized implants. Methods: According to the CT image data, the Mimics software was imported into the DICOM file to obtain the 3D model. The finite element model of the rib repair plate of the rib repair plate in different materials was established by software such as SOLIDWORKS and ANSYS Workbench. Results: The study found that the stress values was stainless steel > titanium > aluminum. The total displacement deformation is aluminum > titanium > stainless steel. Conclusion: Most commonly used implant repair materials are titanium alloys, which are less used for other metal materials. For the finite element analysis of different materials, it can be concluded that the mechanical properties of the implant under different metal materials under simulated biomechanical environment after rib repair implant implantation.
