The CRAFT magnet power system is an important part of the CRAFT project. It uses the phase-controlled rectification method of the thyristor to provide continuous and stable direct current to the superconducting coil, and then realizes the control of plasma generation, displacement, and deformation under different operating modes. In this paper, the simulation model of CRAFT magnet power supply system is built by MATLAB simulation software. Through this model, the waveform results of the DC side short-circuit fault state of the magnet power system are analyzed and the short-circuit current peak value and steady-state value of the fault are obtained. At the same time, the change of short-circuit current peak value and steady-state value under the short-circuit fault state when multiple converters are connected in parallel is innovatively proposed, which provides important reference value for the fault protection scheme of magnet power supply in the future.
