It has been observed that the information and communication technology is dynamically increasing. Every organization is using this technology to streamline the business functions and operational processes. With the passage of time the electricity distribution system is needed to be improved. The tracking and monitoring of different electrical parameters is the main problem for distribution companies. In this work, improvement in the existing electric system is done, having the capability to perform tracking and monitoring using WSN nodes installed at different stations. The multi-listing agent based technique has been adopted for the communication and collaboration of WSN nodes in traditional electric system. The MLA communication protocol has capability to ensure that no data is repeated to save the power, avoid traffic congestion and improve Network lifetime. This MLA communication protocol communicated between WSN nodes, improved the existing system performance like power consumption, data traffic congestion, network lifetime, data security and privacy.
