For the development of new criteria document of BA (Blue Angel Mark) for MFD and related products (RAL-UZ 122), in InterNoise2010, new officer of UBA (German Federal Agency of Environment) responsible for acoustical noise limits showed, in his technical paper, the possibility of applying new acoustical noise test patterns in accordance with ISO/IEC 24734 and ISO/IEC 24735 (new patterns). It implies as if such new test patterns replace current ones which are stated in ISO 7779:2001 or JBMS-74-1:2005. Based on some degrees of experiences of pattern development (as the originating organization of the current colour pattern), JBMIA working group for investigation of acoustical noise standards and specifications evaluated its feasibility of applying such non-acoustic patterns to noise measurements. This paper shows the feasibility study results and the subsequent recommendations for the test pattern development.
