Resilience of Sewer System - Focusing on Manholes -

Countermeasures have been considered and developed to address various issues facing manholes, such as aging, earthquake resistance. Therefore, we organize the individual technologies related to manholes that have been developed so far from the viewpoint of resilience, and propose how to proceed with the planned and efficient manhole reconstruction. In addition, we analyze the behavior that occurs in manhole and sewer pipe at the time of earthquake when multiple measures are implemented, and we also confirmed their effectiveness.
