Recent work links intestinal microbiome and metabolic syndrome to immunity and soluble antigens. Whether metabolic syndrome can influence the immunological responses of PLGA nanovaccines remains poorly understood and if they do. how novel nanomaterials can overcome such limitations remains unexplored, we demonstrate how the gut microbiome and systemic metabolic syndrome modulate humoral immunity against biomaterials-based nanovaccines.
