Inclusion complexes of cyclodextrin nitrates with compounds containing explosive groups in their composition

The possibility of obtaining β-cyclodextrin nitrate inclusion complexes with such compounds as isosorbid mononitrate and nicorandil has been investigated. As the starting cyclodextrin nitrates, both fully substituted products and compounds with a degree of substitution of hydroxyl groups for nitrate 50% and 80% were used. We investigated the inclusion complexes of cyclodextrin nitrates with isosorbide mononitrate and nicorandil with different molar ratios of the components (1:1, 1:2). The proof of the formation of complexes was performed using X-Ray diffraction phase analysis and differential scanning calorimetry.
