摘要

The simulation model for efficiency estimation of the solar water pumping system is proposed. It investigates the possibility of efficiency calculation for the designed Centrifugal Pump System (CPS) with a Photovoltaic (PV) power source. The efficiency of the CPS varies significantly with the change of operational point location on the H-Q plane and depends on the positions of the pump and system curves. The model allows not only to estimate efficiency for a given PV water pumping system but also to implement it later at the design stage of a real PV pumping system for preliminary performance analysis. Model-based calculation approach for the single-drive centrifugal pump along with other necessary parts is described. All parameters of the current simulation model can be varied according to the needs of the desired configuration. The model helps to estimate and optimize the system parameters of the PV water pumping system in the wide range of consumption demand.
