The performance indicators of the horizontal and vertical channel signals have a great influence on the accuracy of the dual polarization weather radar. In order to analyze the channel consistency of dual polarization weather radar, this paper uses virtual instrument technology to carry out the research. It is found that the parameters of differential reflectivity, differential phase and standing wave ratio are different. For differential reflectance, the corrected horizontal and vertical channel deviation is less than 0.1dB.For the differential phase, the signal has different transmission paths in the two channels, causing a certain phase delay in the vertical channel compared with the horizontal channel. The voltage standing wave ratios of the two channels have different trends and ranges of variation at the same elevation angle and different azimuths. So, it has certain reference value for improving the accuracy and reducing the failure rate of dual polarization weather radar detection according this research.
