US: A system to meet love by chance located in metro-bus transfer service

Transportation, especially modern metro-bus transportation process is a busy and lonely process for the passengers as well as the urban life. This research explores an interesting activity that might provide different aspects for such a routine process-encountering love. Using service design methods such as stakeholder and journey map, the daily activities of passengers are analyzed and classified into a set of routines that provide different routes towards chances to encounter love. The main problem besides the shortest path during the transportation we believe are the mechanics and efficiency associated with the transportation itself that urban public transport often encounters, but how to solve this problem is not just an engineering issue, but an interaction design issue. What are the main characteristics of the users (man or woman)? And what are their desires is what we are aiming at. Through literature reviews, the love-matching issues are getting critical as the urbanization moves further in eastern society, especially modern China. One of possible meeting place is the transportation that is our contextual location. By studying encounters and matching social studies, we discover several interaction patterns of behaviors that are the base of our interaction design. A field site survey (we are doing observations and interview 11 people in Taipei and Kaohsiung) is conducted to verify the hypothesis and ensure the activities. An implementation, called us is proposed and described in detail in a final paper. Service is built on an iOS platform. Interface and interactive usage scenarios will be displayed in the whole paper. These studies and designs for solving those problems include: "metro-bus transfer system", "urban men and women craving to encounter love" and the others aspects had a profound influence.
