This paper presents the feasibility of Hybrid Energy System penetration for a Technical Institution in Tamil Nadu. Energy use is quite high in Industries and in Educational Institutions in India. Preservation and Proper power administration would present optimistic results. Energy poverty is one of the major barriers to the economic development and expansion in all developing countries. The major way out to this crisis is sustainable electricity creation with independent supply. This paper proposes an optimization of a Renewable Hybrid Energy System (RHES) using HOMER (Hybrid Optimization Model for Electric Renewables) for a particular technical institution. The feasibility investigation is done using HOMER and the performance of this hybrid system at different conditions is analysed and optimal solution has been found with cost analysis.
