Basic research for preparing noise guidelines of wind farms in South Korea

In South Korea, A wind farm is a target of the environmental impact assessment, but there is a no clear standard or guidelines for wind farm noise. The environmental impact assessment is essential because wind farm noise can affect the human body, as it contains low-frequency sound. Therefore, in this study, we conducted a basic research (Questionnaire for Expert Opinion) for the establishment of evaluation criteria or guidelines considering the characteristics of wind farm noise in the residential area near the wind farm.
