3.3 kV-100 kW, 99.5% SiC chopper using gate circuit insulated by optical fiber was designed for renewable energy generation system. 8 kW Dual Active Bridge (DAB) converter was fabricated and tested. 2 phase HEECS chopper of 3.3 kV-100 kW-20 kHz which loaded it was completed, and performed a BTB (Back to Back) experiment. 99.71% (target efficiency:99.5%) was obtained.
