We report on spectroscopic investigation of the influence of crystal structure on dielectric response in lead substituted M-type barium hexaferrite (Ba1-xPbxFe12O19) single crystals. Broad-band spectra of complex dielectric permittivity have been measured in the frequency range from 10 cm-1 to 8000 cm-1 and at temperatures from 10 K to 300 K. Low-energy (terahertz) dielectric response and infrared phonon spectra are studied as dependent on lead content, x(Pb) = 0.1;0.6;0.8.
