1. The experiment shows that 150°C and 2h are the optimum conditions for oxidation and the content of total HA in lignite was increased by 4.21%. 2. The flocculation abilities of HA were improved and the flocculation problems were fundamentally solved by EDTA-2Na. 3. Humic acid has a certain hydrophilicity due to its more oxygen-containing functional groups such as OH, COOH and C=O. And the acidity of humic acid is the most strongest than lignite and residual coal. 4. The structures of residual coal and humic acids are similar to raw coal and their skeleton structures are simpler than raw coal.
