摘要

This study explores the release of gentamicin and PHMB on different polymers of various cross-sectional geometry. The results of PLA show larger initial releases of gentamicin for the single large fiber. Future work will continue this study by comparing cross-sectional geometry on fiber release for both gentimicin and PHMB for PLA, PCL, and CAB. Results of this study will eventually provide insight into optimizing the material and geometry that best incorporates antibiotics into wound dressings.
