Gene expression levels associated with the natural pMN, metastasis, and T cell suppression are similarly expressed in the scaffold. These expression levels can be combined into a signature of metastatic potential through multiple methodologies. This pMN signature tracks with disease progression. Ongoing studies are investigating the dynamics of the signature and how it responds to therapeutic interventions. Additionally, we are integrating techniques from clinical practice, such as core-needle biopsies, to validate their utility and use for longitudinal tracking metastatic disease.
