The piezoelectricity of the electrospun nanofibers membranes from Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) dispersion were evaluated aiming at sensor pressure and energy harvesting application. A test setup was mounted and an adapted device was specially produced to measure the piezoelectricity of these membranes. The maximum signal measured for 1 Hz excitation was 160 mV. The Raman and DXR analyses confirm the presence of b phase, responsible for PVDF nanofibers piezoelectricity. These promising results confirm the applicability of the membranes in sensor devices.
