Optical Curtain Transceiver

摘要

This paper describes the design of an optical curtain. The proposed curtain can be part of the object security system. It consists of a laser transmitter module and a laser beam receiver. The proposed solution is characterized by: safe laser radiation, optical communication of modules, mobility and reconfigurability of the curtain. All components of the curtain are digitally controlled via the FPGA. The paper considers the aspects of: generating and light detection, signal conditioning, digital control and heat dissipation.
