Providing Medical Apparatus with a High Reliability at the Design Stage

This article suggests a practical approach to the number of backup elements optimization within electronic devices, regarding which high level of reliability requirements have been set. The approach suggested is especially suitable for application in medical electronic devices for mobile use, when there are some additional important factors such as volume and weight. An approach is established by which the backup variants existed are explored consecutively in terms of reliability, and the most suitable case is selected by carrying out an optimization task in compliance with previously defined additional requirements.
