Glass seal is an important process in diode package technology. In order to reach a relatively high temperature, graphite is widely used as its excellent performance in electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and easy forming. In this paper, the boat could be divided into working zone and tuning zone. The structure of tuning zone is researched through the method of thermal-electric couple. Thermal gradient and dispersion were different in different structural design. By compared the temperature data of fifteen points in working zone under computer simulations and testified by glass seal experiments, the temperature optimism abilities of three types of tuning structures of are discussed. A better structure of glass seal graphite boat is designed.
