To improve the dynamic characteristics of structures, an optimum method is to obtain the best dynamic topology structure without an additional dynamic absorber or actuator. This paper presents an ESO-SIMP multiobjective optimization methodology to solve the problem caused by an external excitation. In this approach, sensitivity filtering technique is introduced to eliminate the numerical instability phenomena. A two sides clamped plate is chosen as the numerical experiment model. Both static and dynamic characteristics are analyzed by using a compromise programming approach in topology optimization. The numerical simulation results validate the proposed methodology.
