摘要

The objective of this paper was to research and develop an Internet platform for educational purposes called AccessEducation. The interaction design and platform development were based on recommendations from the Child-Computer Interaction (CCI) and Web Accessibility disciplines. Research in the literature on the discipline of design in CCI showed that the area is still little discussed in the country. As a result, this work presents very significant data comparing the same teaching activity carried out in the classroom, in the traditional format, and in a computer lab, with the reinforcement of the use of the AccessEducation platform. From the results, we believe that the use of educational software in the classroom promotes learning and that it can be even more effective if the interaction design of the software is thought to be focused on the intended user, in this case, the children's public, inserting here children with some special needs.
