Design of metal detecting system based on HMC1001 magnetic sensor

摘要

Metal detection is widely used in security, military and industrial and mining enterprises on the conveyor belt quality and safety testing. In mining enterprises, if the material on the conveyor belt contains metal mining work pieces, it will seriously damage the production line equipment when grading the materials in the latter stage. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a metal detection system applied to the conveyor belt. This paper designs a metal detection system based on the HMC1001 magnetic sensor. The system consists of a sensor module, a reset circuit, an amplifier circuit and a data acquisition circuit. It has the advantages of strong anti-interference ability and high sensitivity.
