This article aims to discuss the detection and measurement of blood glucose by non-invasive methods, current or older blood glucose measurement methods, current and future research. The article aims to illustrate a new prototype based on spectroscopic methods, UV sensors, to monitor blood glucose. The problems addressed center on the absorption of light in the matter and the measurement of blood glucose.
