PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noninvasive instrument for measuring the blood sugar level of a living body reduced in size, capable of being provided relatively inexpensively and having simple use steps. PSOLUTION: In this noninvasive method for measuring the blood sugar level of the living body, an examinee preliminarily takes an electron spin labeled drug. The measuring region of the examinee is introduced into a sample resonator 10 and irradiated with a microwave of a frequency band becoming a resonance condition with respect to an electron spin label by a microwave transmitting means 22 to impart a sweep magnetic field to the measuring region of the examinee by a magnetic field applying means 23, and a modulated magnetic field is applied to the measuring region of the examinee by a magnetic field modulating means 24, so that the signal intensity of an electron spin resonance spectrum is noninvasively observed by an electron spin label detecting part 20. The blood sugar level of the examinee is estimated on the basis of the signal intensity or signal attenuation quantity of the electron spin resonance spectrum by a blood sugar level estimating part 30. The model of the signal intensity or signal attenuation to be observed of the electron spin resonance spectrum is used according to the blood sugar level, the administration amount of the electron spin label and the elapse time after the administration to enhance an estimate precision.
