In this paper, for the synchronization of fractional order chaotic systems, based on Mittag-Leffler stability theory, a new adaptive control scheme is established. In the case of no eliminating the nonlinear part, the controller is designed with linear controller and adaptive controller. The simulation of the synchronization several chaotic systems was conducted by the adaptive controller which effectively restrain chattering and ensure the smooth. The simulation results verify the validity and feasibility of the controller.
