An Analysis Method of Traveling-Time Patterns Between Rooms from Entry and Exit Data of Office Workers

IC card systems have become popular in recent years, and their log data are used for analyzing human behavior. In this paper, we propose a method for analyzing workers' travel-between-rooms time patterns using log data in an entry and exit management system. We express workers using features representing travel time, extract a set of workers with similar travel time patterns using clustering, and confirm the relationship between travel time patterns and workers' attributes using actual data.
