The secure transmission of data in power information systems relates to the safe operation of the entire power grid. To ensure that power information data cannot be eavesdropped or deciphered during transmission, a strict encryption method is required. As computer computing capabilities continue to increase, traditional encryption algorithms face the challenge of reduced security. Quantum communication technology is a kind of encryption method relatively safe in principle. It can be applied to data transmission in power information systems, greatly improving the security of the system. However, at present, there is a problem that the signal weakens in the long-distance transmission process of the quantum, so that the long-distance quantum communication is hindered. For the above problems, a method suitable for long-distance quantum communication is researched through the analysis of the principle of quantum communication technology.
