摘要

This paper investigates the design of digital low pass filters with tight passband for energy management of hybrid energy storage systems used in electric drive vehicles. Filter requirements based on the sources and converter specification are extracted and the results are evaluated for different Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filters. The filter with the best performance is chosen and used in an EV energy management controller with hybrid battery/UC storage system. Simulation results of the filter performance, energy management controller and battery state of health estimation are provided.
