This paper is considered with the adaptive fault accommodation problem for the uncertain complex networks with unknown fault and nonlinear couplings. It is assumed that the topology structure and coupling strength are all unknown. By combining the graph theory approach, the fuzzy logic theory and the adaptive method, a new adaptive fuzzy fault accommodation controller is constructed to ensure that the effect of the unknown fault and the system uncertainty can be eliminated completely. Furthermore, it is shown that the synchronization error of the networks can converge asymptotically to zero. Finally, one Chua's circuit example is given to illustrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method.
