In cloud manufacturing (CMfg) environment, more and more manufacturing enterprises outsource many manufacturing activities to more professional subcontractor and focus on their core business. To address outsourcing resource (OR) combinatorial optimization for cement equipment manufacturing enterprise and reduce cost, a novel multi-objective optimization model and heuristic approach are investigated in this study. A matrix model based on ontology for outsourcing resource optimization is established. Then, an improved self-adaptive genetic algorithm (SEGA) has been developed. Finally, a case study and comparison of performances with simple genetic algorithm (SGA) and SEGA are presented. Experimental results show the proposed method is more preferably and efficient in optimal solution searching.
