Top development indicators for middle eastern countries

摘要

Fisher and Relief are two well-known and largely used scores for supervised feature selection. In this paper, we propose using these scores in order to select the relevant human development indicators that most contribute in the development classes affected to the different Middle Eastern countries. Experimental results show the importance of indicator selection. They also reveal the importance of some indicators related to the women labor force participation in the development of these Middle Eastern countries.
