摘要

In this paper analysis of various speed control techniques of a three-phase Induction Motor (IM) is performed. Open-loop and closed-loop scalar control techniques are implemented using real-time full spectrum simulator(FSS) and MATLAB Simulink. FSS is an advanced easily configurable controller that enable us to perform off-line as well as real-time simulation. It is also having Hardware in loop facility to test new power electronic equipment. It aids in faster development of system with reduced testing time. The objective of study is to identify advantages and disadvantages of both these techniques using two different simulation tools under various operating condition. Dynamic performance of these techniques is analyzed under various operating conditions.
