Music is one of the most relaxing aspect of a person's life. Different people like different type of songs. They perceive the melodies and the beats of a song in varied ways depending on their "mood". A person's "mood" can be tracked with the help of an EEG and Brain Computer Interface. The goal is to understand how a brain reacts to the stimulus of music and further understand the recognition patterns using machine learning and a neurosky mindwave headset, and add further research into music stimulus recognition by using test subjects and a prescribed list of songs.
