The impact of stakeholder's personal relationships on geographically distributed software development speed

The theoretical model for which the relationship of stakehoders' personal relationships, team absorptive capacity and geographically distributed software development speed, is established according to review the software development stakehoders' three aspects which is Ganqing, Renqing, and Mianzi. Take the agile software development team as a research object to investigate: the results indicate that Ganqing and Renqing of stakeholders have a significant positive effect on the absorbing ability of team. On the other hand, the team absorptive capacity has a positive impact on software development speed. The investigation result also indicates the team absorptive capacity play a partial intermediating role among Ganqing, Mianzi of stakeholders and geographically distributed software development speed. And the team absorptive capacity acts as mediator between the Renqing and geographically distributed software development speed.
