摘要

An approach of tunable single passband microwave photonic filter which can be reconfigurable is proposed. Also we demonstrated theoretically that the beating at a photodetector will only generate a dc component, if a phase-modulated signal is applied directly to a photodetector. Through simulation extraordinary flat-top pass band is observed between 2GHz to 19.5GHz center frequency passband values. For center frequency ranging from 6.5GHz to 12.5GHz, almost symmetrical transition from band stop to band pass is observed.
