Conclusions: From this proposed study we converted the biodegradable waste substance into a useful biomaterial. Here we identified a novel method of extracting pure keratin from goat hoof. We also obtained a promising result by blending the extracted keratin with fibrin, gelatin and mupirocin as biofilm. The thermal strength of KFGD was very high. The antimicrobial activity of KFGD helps to determine the nature of keratin polymer against bacteria Hence KFGD was determined to be a high value natural polymeric source in the fabrication and designing of novel biomaterial in wound healing applications.
