Conclusions: In summary, our experimental results suggested that the new generation of 3D electrospun PCL/PLA blend nanofibrous scaffolds developed by our innovative TISA technique would provide more favorable/desired micro-environment for cranial bone formation (than the previously reported 3D electrospun neat PCL nanofibrous scaffolds), although the detailed mechanisms might still need to be further investigated.
